Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 26, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Galactic Holdings LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, doing business as TowGether ("TowGether," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use the TowGether website and apps (the "Platform").

1. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email, phone number, profile photo, and password (stored in hashed form).
Verification information: where applicable to your role, driver's license details, insurance carrier and policy number, DOT credentials, and results of identity checks performed by third-party verification services. We do not store full government ID images longer than needed for verification.
Listing and transaction information: listing details and photos, booking dates, prices, messages between users, photo walk-around/check-in records, reviews, and dispute records.
Payment information: processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or bank credentials; we receive limited details such as card brand, last four digits, and payout status.
Location information: addresses you enter for listings, pickup, or storage spaces, and approximate location when you use location-based search ("Near me").
Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies or similar technologies used for sign-in, preferences, and analytics.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the marketplace (matching, bookings, payments, messaging), verify users and equipment, generate per-booking agreements and e-signature records, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service, provide support and resolve disputes, improve the Platform, and send transactional and (with your consent where required) marketing communications.

3. How We Share Information

With other users, as needed to complete a transaction (e.g., name, listing address at booking, messages, condition records).
With service providers that support the Platform: payment processing (Stripe), identity and credential verification providers, cloud hosting (Sharetribe), analytics, and communications tools. Providers may only use data to provide services to us.
For legal reasons, when required by law, to protect safety, or to enforce our agreements.
In a business transfer, if TowGether is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Your Choices and Rights

You can access and update your account information at any time, opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link, and control cookies through your browser settings. Depending on where you live (e.g., California, Colorado, and other states with privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@towgether.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

5. Data Retention

We keep account and transaction records while your account is active and afterward as needed for legal, tax, dispute, and safety purposes. Agreement and e-signature records are retained for at least seven (7) years, consistent with applicable statutes of limitation.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and payment processing through PCI-compliant providers. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

7. Children

The Platform is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy prospectively; material changes will be announced by email or on the Platform before taking effect.
