TowGether Storage Space License Agreement
Generated per booking through the TowGether platform. Storage runs in prepaid blocks — hosts are paid out as each block completes.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
This Storage Space License Agreement ("Agreement") is between the Host and the Storer identified in the booking, generated per booking through the TowGether platform. It incorporates the TowGether Terms of Service, including arbitration. TowGether is not a party.
Booking Details
- Host (name / account ID)
- Storer (name / account ID)
- Space address & description
- Stored property (trailer year/make/type)
- VIN / plate
- Trailer length (max permitted)
- Block rate (per booked block, e.g., 30 days)
- Current paid-through date
- Access terms (24/7, gate code, notice required)
1. License, Not a Lease
This is a license to park/store personal property, not a lease of real property. It creates no tenancy, leasehold, bailment (Host takes no custody or control of the property), or other real-property interest. Host may relocate the stored property within the premises on 48 hours' notice for reasonable operational needs.
2. Term, Renewal, and Rebooking
Storage is booked in fixed, prepaid blocks through the platform — typically 30 days ("monthly"), or as the listing states. To continue storing beyond the current block, the Storer books the next block before the current paid-through date. Neither party is bound beyond the current paid block: the Storer may simply not rebook, and the Host may decline a renewal booking. Out of courtesy, [14] days' notice of non-renewal is expected from either side, and the Host must always honor paid-through dates.
3. Fees and Payouts
Each block is paid in full through the platform when the Host accepts the booking. Funds are held by the platform's payment processor and released to the Host when that block completes — so long-term storage pays out block-by-block (e.g., every 30 days), not at the end of the entire stay. All storage payments must go through the platform; paying off-platform voids platform protections and violates the Terms of Service. If property remains in the space past the paid-through date without a new booking, holdover use accrues at [1.5×] the block's equivalent daily rate, and Section 8 may apply.
4. Permitted Property and Use
- Only the property described above may be stored, within the stated size limit.
- No hazardous materials beyond a factory-installed propane tank (valves closed) or vehicle fuel tank; no leaking fluids.
- No habitation, running a business from the space, storage of other goods in/around the trailer beyond its interior, or maintenance work beyond minor upkeep, unless the listing expressly allows it.
- Storer must maintain current registration on the stored trailer.
5. Host Obligations
Host warrants it owns or has authority over the space; will maintain the access, security features, and surface conditions described in the listing; and will not use, move (except per Section 1), or permit others to use the stored property.
6. Insurance — Important
Host's homeowner or property policy does not cover the Storer's trailer. Storer is responsible for insuring the stored property. Host is not liable for theft, vandalism, weather, or acts of third parties except to the extent caused by Host's gross negligence or breach of Section 5.
7. Condition Record
Both parties should document condition with photos through the booking's message thread at move-in (property and space) and at move-out.
8. Abandonment and Removal
If property remains [30] days past the paid-through date and Storer is unresponsive for [15] additional days after notice to the account email, the property is deemed abandoned to the extent permitted by the law of the state where the space is located. Host may then follow the platform abandonment process, which applies the state's applicable lien/abandoned-vehicle procedure [STATE-SPECIFIC PROCESS — ATTORNEY TO COMPLETE]. Storer remains liable for unpaid holdover fees and removal costs.
9. Release and Indemnity
Storer assumes the risks of outdoor/shared storage, releases Host from claims except as stated in Section 6, and indemnifies Host against claims arising from the stored property (leaks, fire, injury caused by the property's condition). Host indemnifies Storer against claims arising from Host's gross negligence or breach of authority in Section 5.
10. Disputes
Platform resolution first, then arbitration per the Terms of Service. Governed by the law of the state where the space is located.
Executed electronically by accepting a booking on the TowGether platform.
